Lil Shark for Intex 2000GPH Krystal Clear pump?

Hi, does anyone know if the Pentair Lil Shark cleaner will work with the Intex 2000gph filter pump ("System flow rate of 1,650 GPH; pump flow rate of 2,000 GPH"), and if they are any good?

I have read the online manual on the Pentair website, but it doesn't mention the minimum pump size required.

My Lil Shark wouldn't work with the stock intex filter. I have a 1 1/2 hp pump and it moves quite rapidly.

Which Intex pump did you have as there are quite a few different sizes?

To be honest I don't even remember. My friend had the small Intex sand filter and couldn't get it to run off of his also.

I believe I had the 1500. No SWCG. It wouldn't even budge with that. If you lived around here I'd let you try it out before you bought it. He ended up buying two vacs and neither worked with his Intex Sand Filter/Pump either.

Hmm.
There is a reviewer on Amazon who has it working with the 2650gph Intex sand filter pump.
But didn't work with your friend's smaller sand pump at 1650gph and your pump possibly at 1500gph, so I'm not sure if it will work
with my 2000gph.

How well do you find it works as a cleaner?
I suspect it would work better on a round pool rather than my rectangular.

I think it works a lot better than hand vacuuming. I have problems with it getting stuck in the same area, but I just go out and "adjust" it every once in a while. I was going to buy a robot this summer at the end of the season, but I haven't gotten around to it. We are looking at a larger pool for next summer and I'll be curious to see how well it does with that.
