I noticed today when cleaning out the pump strainer basket after turning the pump back on my aqua plus displayed vsp comm error. It only does it while the pump is priming and does not blink after priming. I can control my Ecostar fine with the aqua plus. Anyone know why it is showing this just during priming but still allow me to control the pump?
 
Did you ever figure out what caused the VSP error. I'm having the same problem now. It looked like the controller didn't have enough voltage for the signal to the pump. I reset the main breaker and that fixed the problem for a few days. Now the problem is back. Reset the breaker again, but that didn't fix it this time.
