how to prevent water from splashing outside spa

Poor planning on our part! Unfortunately, when swimming against the current, the water splashes outside the spa. An inside installation, the heating and HRV ducts are less than 2 ft away from the spa. The spa was intended as low-impact exercise since we are both getting older. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

What is HRV? Heating Return Vent?

Can you simply add some kind of duct extension and raise the heating duct a foot or two off the floor or is this in the middle of the room? Another option would be to treat this like a bathroom - put a tile floor around the spa with a raised lip to keep water from flowing out of the area if spilled. Last but not least - put glass around the spa on the sides that are problems to reflect back the spashes - maybe combined with a lip on the floor.

thanks for the suggestions! a neighbour suggested plexiglass that can fold down over the spa when not in use. He knows someone who manufactures such things. We've got a numbe of other projects to finish first and then we'll get onto that. I'll post pics when we get it done!
