Decided to do a full vacuum the other day and removed my weir door to run the hose through it. Dang thing was full of water........and as I held it up to drain....it wasn't exactly BBB crystal clear pool water!@ My door is made out of three plastic pieces glued together and one piece started to pull away a bit. Anyhow, I expoxied it when it dried out. Just though I'd let folks here know yet ANOTHER place to check when you need to go to shock level.

During my 2nd year of operation and when I finally found this site, I found algae crud built up along skimmer plate edging, the pool light, as well as walk-in steps & vinyl liner trimmed edge. I now run the brush along these areas thoroughly several times a week. My robotic cleaner does not get these areas at all.
