first tim eswimmers..are numbers okay???

My nieces and nephew will be the first swimmers in my new pool tomorrow and I want to make sure everything looks good enough for that. Here are the numbers this morning -

FC 18
CC 0
TC 18
pH 7.2
TA 70
CYA 90

A couple of weeks ago I added a couple of pounds of borax to raise the pH to 7.6. Should I do that again?? Since this will be the first time I have swimmers in my pool is there anything special I need to do???

Leave your pH alone. The SWG will tend to make it rise anyway.

If you've been chlorinating solely with the SWG, turn it down a notch. 8-10ppm of FC is enough.

Thanks Dave! Yes, I am chlorinating with the SWG but have had in low since the beginning. The CL is finally starting to come down from a high of 29 from the PB's original brilliant application of chemicals!

I may just have to get in today first!
