toilet had terrible stains on them that nothing would get rid of, even bleach. the stain was dark brown and was rough to the touch. i read online that a splash of muriatic acid worked, so i tried it and it immediately ate the stain away. just a fyi

Note this is not a good idea for those of us on septic tanks. Sounds like a pumice stone works well.

MA is also good for removing aluminum melted connecting-rod material from steel crankshafts. Don't ask me how I know that...
