Solar Cover Helping FC ?

I installed a solar cover last weekend and since then my bleach consumption has drastically lessened. Before the cover I was loosing 3-4ppm a day now I'm loosing maybe 1ppm. Is this common?

Yes, definitely one of the benefits! Less UV hitting your water to break down chlorine.
