I'm doing a diy vinyl inground pool and have some ?'s.
The pool is freeform 36k gallons.I have an intelliflo pump. I plan on the following pipe structure.
2 - 2" skimmer lines
1 - 2" main drain
1 - 2" for 3 step returns (2 on main step/1 on deep end contiur step)
1 - 2" for 2 inpool returns
1 - 2" for small waterfall
1 - 2" for 6 deck jets (t'ed to 3/4" to each deck jet)
all above runs with a valve on each @ pump

Any suggestions on a filter - Most people in my area use sand filters. I'm leaning toward a pentair.

Thanks

Skirt,

Sand filters are all pretty much alike......but size does matter. You can never buy one too large but easily can get one too small. One that has a gpm rating about 20-30% larger than the gpm your pump produces is a very nice match.
