Pentair Easy Touch

I have an intellifo 4 x 160 and a pool pilot digital SWG. Will the Easy Touch comunicate with the pool pilot or do I just set it to come on with all the pump cycles.

I vaguely remember seeing a thread on this a long time ago (you might try to search)... If I recall correctly, the digital communications between the EasyTouch and the Pool Pilot are not compatible. At the very least you'd have the pool pilot wired off the easytouch relay which powers your pump. This would cause the SWCG to run whenever your pump runs, but you'll probably have to set levels manually on the pool pilot itself. We have a few SWCG experts on the forum and I'm betting one of them will chime in with a more definitive answer soon.

I believe they can be wired up if you can find the correct cable. However you lose temperature compensation so it may be better to simply switch to AutoPilot on and off with the pump.
