Barracuda Mx8 problem

Hi all, I am new so be gentle.

I have a Barracuda MX-8 cleaner I am trying to hook up to the dedicated suction on my pool. The problem is my suction inlet size is 2" and the MX8 doesn't have an adapter that i can use with it. I don't see in the instruction manual how to connect it. I tried looking for an adapter at the Zodiac site without luck.

What am I doing wrong??

The universal valve cuff that comes with it should work for 2" pipe. Its the white rubber piece with 4 ribs that the gray flowkeeper valve fits in.
