Adding 12.5 % shock right now.. quick question?

I just started with BBB yesturday and my K-2006 is not here yet.
I just did a OTO test with 2 different kits
FC .5 with Leslies
FC 1 with HTH

I added alot of water early this morning because I had to vac to waste today.. (pool is now ALOT clearer)
It is very sunny here right now and I know it is best to add chemicals at night but should I add the 1 quart 3 cups 2 oz that the pool calulator suggested right now?
We would like to get in the pool soon but I dont want the FC to drop anymore
If I add now.. how long do we have to wait to swim?

Add it now, give it 15 minutes or so to mix, and jump in. You'll mix it better than the pump.
