Hayward Heater problem

Can anyone help I have a Hayward Heat pump for my pool but now when I turn it on code HIA shows up first thing, the heat pump works, it seems to take a little longer than usual to come on. What do I need to do, please help if you can do not want to cause more problems by using it. Thanks

HI is the only thing I could find in the manuals and that is either a low water flow indicator or a high water temp indicator.

Can you verify the code? I can't find anything under HIA.

HIA 2.1 is the code it shows then it starts up after a few minutes.

Call Hayward Customer Support, 908.351.5400. What you are seeing could just be the version of the code for the system board.

I had the same code displayed when my heat pump quit. At first I thought it was the fan so I replaced it but still had the same trouble - compressor would start but fan would not spin up. I could bump the fan blades and it would run for a bit then shut down again. I finally replaced the Fan Run Capacitor (part no. HPX11024151) and that did the trick.
