Water feature powered blasters for the kids

So I am a bit of an engineer and I have taken my kids to splash parks and they love those water blasters they can spray each other with.

So After a beer or two, I got to looking at my pool and notices I have 2 fountains. One in the spa and one on a tanning ledge.

So That is my power source

Prototype is too big it fills with water and the thrust makes it tip. I am working on adapting to a slimmer pipe so it is not as heavy

At any rate, here is my starting point:

Completed prototype

A little heavy but proof of concept

Does anyone have any ideas on how to better to this or if there is an existing product?
Ultimate goal is 10 - 12 feet of spray, and able to swivel about 90 degrees.

And a major goal is to do this without messing up my pump, pipes, etc. :)
