algaeside needed with BBB

Hello everyone,
I have been doing the BBB since June. Things are working out quite well. In fact, I just recently added borates to the pool and really like the sparkling clear water. I have installed a liquidator as well and have been able to keep my FC above 3. Just wondering if I need to add algaeside to the pool or not? Especially now that I have added the borates to the water. Please let me know what you guys do. Thanks DW6

No, algaecide is not needed.

Not at all.

But if you need to for a reason such as an extended vacation or to close your pool for the winter, make sure you use a PolyQuat 60% algaecide since PolyQuat doesn't have copper in it.
