FAS-DPD test kit question

Prev owner left me a Taylor K-2005 test kit with a fair amount of juices left, but unknown age. This is like the good kit (K-2006) without a FAS-DPD setup. Question is, should I just buy a FAS-DPD test or should I buy a whole new kit? Do reagents go bad in a couple years time? If just FAS-DPD, is a Taylor K-1515 the appropriate kit? Anywhere to buy one locally near Gurnee, IL or in Milwaukee?

Also, if or should I say when I start doing borax, guess I'll need borax test strips - ditto on the where to buy.

Reagents can and do go bad. Search for extended test directions thread, there see some bits of info there that help you decide if your chemicals are still good.
