New plastered pool

We had our pool plastered and filled yesterday, then was told no one is coming to start up equipment until Tuesday. Is it ok to wait this long without brushing or having equipment running?
 
Well, we always want folks to follow PB instructions to make sure not to void any warranties.

I would call/email the PB and verify the start-up procedure instructions. Do you have them in writing?

We have a plaster start-up procedure article in Pool School (big white button, top right).
