effect of high free chlorine on Ph

I have been keeping my FC at 25 to kill an algae bloom. My PH was ~7.4/7.2
Its reading 7.0 now
My alk is about 60-70
Should I let my FC drop before I adjust?
Does high FC make ph rise or fall

High FC doesn't affect the pH, but it does mess up the test. Wait for lower FC before you trust your pH reading.
