Fresh after pool refill. TF-100 test results

Ok guys, after my failure to battle the deep green swamp and with my CYA being over 100 I took most people's advice and drained and refilled. Here are my fresh pool test values:

FC= 1.0
PH= 7.5
CC= 0
CH= 70
TA= 500
CYA= 0
TC= 1.0

I am on well water so that is probably why the TA is high maybe. I did have it tested once for iron and it was not high. I want to start the BBB process. What do I work on correcting first guys?

Get your CYA up. Target 30 for your first addition. Bring FC up to match your CYA level. Use poolcalculator.com for assistance.

I would also make sure you have some muriatic acid or some PH down because its probably going to start climbing with a TA that high.

Good catch, I totally missed that TA number. I'd put some real focus on getting that down.

Yep I started with a TA of 300 and a PH of 7.2 and I'm adding around 30oz of acid every other day.
