pool school needs a new page

I was going through the pool school a few times recently, and I've found one page conspicuously absent. There should be a new page added that details, sorted by use, various pool chemicals, how to identify them, how to properly deploy them (like CYA in a sock. That one was strange!) in various situations, how to handle and store them properly, and even how to dispose of them properly if you no longer have a pool or find yourself in other need of disposing them.

We have that page. It is located here...pool-school/recommended_pool_chemicals.

We don't give information on disposal because the way in which one disposes of a hazardous material legally varies from place to place. We have members from all over the world here and what may work for California may not work for Thailand and so forth. Secondly, most people just use their chemicals until they are gone. If one is needing to rid themselves of a product, it's usually because they no longer have a pool and then, they probably would not be here anyway. That being said, the best way to determine where unwanted hazardous materials should be disposed of is your local governmental contacts. Be it city, county, or state, they will tell you what to do and where to go with them.
