At least once every year the slide valve attached to the sand filter "seizes". I then disassemble it and lube the o-rings or replace them. Is this normal? I noticed the inside wall of the valve has what looks like o-ring residue (only because it's black like the o-rings). Is there some way to clean the inside of the valve?
