CYA level with SWCG

Quick question. I've read to check the manufactures suggested CYA level for CYA when using a SWCG, but mine (Polaris Autoclear Plus) says to check local requirements. So is it necessary to have CYA at all when chlorine is being generated daily?
I'm currently trying to lower the PH in the pool with MA, and I read that adding CYA will raise PH.
Here's my test results for today.

FC-3.0
CC-0
PH-8.0
TA-125
CH-325
CYA-0

Thanks again.

CYA will make no really significant change in your pH.

I have no idea what your local requirements for CYA are but most SWG's, as you know, suggest 60-80.....that's what I'd do.

Yes, it is necessary to have CYA. Chlorine still needs protection from the sun regardles of the source.
