Need to Scrub off Algae - recommend wire brush.

Is any wire brush ok, or does it need to be a special type of wire brush?

We have a concrete pool with tile.

Finally have the water sparkling clear and just need to tidy up some stains.

Wire or dual brushes are fine for older plaster (over 1 year old).

If your pool is concrete with paint, I would avoid a wire brush. If well aged plaster, no problem. They make wire brushes that fit on your wall brush pole. As mentioned, they also offer combo brushes that have some wire bristles mixed in with the traditional nylon bristles.

If wire is not the proper choice, try one of the new Wall Whale Brushes. It has a flap on the back that creates more downforce when brushing.
