Can Scaling dissolve with positive CSI?

Hi,

I've noticed that over the last few weeks, the scaling in my pool seems to be dissolving slowly. If I rub the scaled areas, a little cloud comes off, and when I brush, it does the same thing. Here's my recent numbers:

FC 5
CC 0
pH 7.6
TA 120
CH 400
CYA 80
Salt 3330
Water temp 88

CSI shows to be +0.14

Is it possible to have the scaling dissolve with a positive CSI?

Yes and no. Calcium scale will not dissolve in the usual sense when CSI is positive. However it can crumble, breakdown into dust, or flake off.
