Always able to keep pool clear till now, gettin crazy. About a week ago pool started to get a little algae, brushed pool was clear, started gettin cloudy thought it was dead algae...brought fc up to 21 as per calc.. dropped down to 18 overnight brought back up to 21 dropped to 19 overnight, slowly got worse. Can just make out main drain thru the hazy water. Yesterday evening went by cya chart and raised to fc to 28, was 28 as of this morning...gettin buggy... I use cal-hypo 65% as shock....pool is in direct sun all day...numbers are as follows:
fc-32
cc-0
tc-32
ta-90
cya-70
ph-7.5

Just thinkin maybe filter problems????
Thank u in advance

You had algae, which it sounds like you have either just killed or have very nearly killed as of today. The overnight FC loss on previous evenings means it was still growing as recently as the night before last, and possibly yesterday as well.

Sand filters can take a while to completely clear up the water, often a week, sometimes a bit more sometimes a bit less. And the week really only starts when you pass the overnight FC loss test, which you only did last night.

Keep the filter running 24/7 until the water clears up. You should now see a visible improvement each day as the filter catches up with the algae. Remember to keep an eye on the filter pressure and backwash the filter as needed when the pressure goes up.
