I'm so happy I found this site after 3 years in baquahell.
We have a 12'x28' AG doughboy, a little over 7900 gallons, we started the season off totally green but "balanced" according to the pool store  I started with the bleach yesterday morning, got a little scared when we entered the baby poop yellow phase, then all manner of green till we ended up last night with milky white.

This a.m. I went out right after dawn and it was GASP  turning BLUE!
I'm with BBB forever!

On a sad note I did lose one of my little frogs, we have a colony under our deck, apparently one got a little close to the edge....

Nice work, JC.

Be sure to stay the course and keep the chlorine in there. The last little bit to sparkling blue can be frustratingly slow sometimes but the key is to keep chlorine in the pool and keep the pump and filter working.
