my pump will only half fill the pool is 3,861 gallons only half of the filter is being used i use the air valve but it will not spit out water just keeps feeeding more air it will not fully fill up what is the issue?

You have a suction side air leak. Somewhere between the pump and the skimmer(s), air is being sucked into the system. Find that leak and your issues will be solved.

the pump is sitting way below the wter level if thats what you mean sorry kinda new to pools
i just went outside at 1am lol it worked thanks so much you may close this post i also have milky water but thats cuz i skipped the ph stuff lol thanks guys
By the way, duraleigh was right, it was a suction side leak, called a open air bleed valve since those intex pumps have the filter on the suction side.
