How big area for an 18' intex ultra frame pool.

I am putting up an 18' intex ultra frame. How big of a circle do I need to prepare/level. Is 18' 6" big enough?

If you have some pavers for the legs that are over 6" I would go bigger.
Is is because here in FL nothing but sand and legs were sinking , so I used big and thick pavers and went 10" over pool size (Intex 16') when I had it.
New pool this year! Went up to 21' round Swim N Play with a deep center.

On my 18 foot intex I did a 21 foot circle worked out real well for me.....Mike

i leveled out a 20' circle and i have a good foot on each side still. I used a 10' long 2x6 staked in the middle to level the 20' circle. Worked out great!

We did a 20' x 20' square for our 18' intex. Gave us extra room for the pump, etc.

For my 12 ft round I did a 16 ft square. If I would have had the space I would have gone about 1 more ft though.

Thannks. I did about 19ft and it worked out fine. But it LEAKS.
