Is there a difference when trying to raise your CH levels using calcium chloride and calcium increaser? Calcium Chloride HI94 is $20 for 50lb and way cheaper than the Calcium Hardness increaser that pool brands sell. Is it the Same thing for raising calcium levels??

Calcium chloride based deicer products are generally fine to use and often far less expensive.
Calcium chloride comes in various concentrations, which are often not well labeled, so the prices are not always directly comparable. But the differences in concentration are generality small, and the price difference is generally large, so go for it.
