Nice pool.
If i had to do it again, I would go with the L shape as well for the extra shallow end. I find most everyone tends to hang out in the shallow end, and it makes it harder for the kids to swim around the adults.
Thank you westsidepool. I'm not sure I'd do anything differently with the funds we had to work with. Now if funds were unlimited......I could see a very different pool
We enjoy the "L" for the same reason you mentioned.
And two years later the French drain was completed with the walkway to the gate. We are slow but we got it done. The French drain is under that stone that borders the river rock border and it works! Our whole property slopes down to that and in a heavy rain it would just look like a sheet of water was flowing downhill toward that concrete deck. Now it all goes downhill past the pool caught by the drain. Sod has grown back since this pick.
