Which valves are the best to use. I want to be able to control the water flow thru the valves. The pentair valves have stops that allow you to divert water @ different flow rates. Does the jandy valve allow you to do this (ie. keeping the valve @ half open without the valve slipping back full open). Also the jandy are CPVC and the pentair can be bought CPVC or PVC. Is it an advantage either way? I will have valves on all returns, skimmers, md, & waterfall.

The Jandy valves can be locked in the position you want. IMHO, the Jandy Valves are better.
I just bought 8 of them for redoing my pool shed. I put a valve on everthing. I use them to increase from 1 1/2 inch pipe to 2 inch pipe; like a reducer.

I bought them from here; received them fast and well packed.

They carry both lines of valves.

Here is a tip for Jandy valve owners:

Take the valve apart(unscrew all those screws) and lube
the seal O-Ring and the O-Ring on the handle shaft. This will prevent
air leaks in the valve.
