My pool light is held in by a light wedge and I would like to clean behind the light. Does anyone know how to get the light out of the niche and once I get it out how do I get it back in?

Years ago when I was using baquacil water mold grew behind the light. I haven't had any problems since switching to a swg but I would still like to clean it just to make sure nothing bad starts growing back there.

you just unloosen the screw on the light wedge and pull out the light, when putting it back in make sure you have the excess wire behind the light in a spiral so there is room for the light to fit back into the niche. There is usually a spot on the bottom of the light that fits into the niche first (like a hinge) point then the rest of the light sits flush and you re-tighten the screw on the light wedge.
