Flex PVC

We have had four builders bid on our pool installation. All of them except one has bid using rigid PVC and warned against using flex. However, one of the builders is insisting on flex because of the freeform shape we want (see siggy).

Thoughts on using flex PVC on IG pools?

Rigid is better, but flex can work perfectly well in many situations. I would give some preference to the builders using rigid plumbing, but not rule the fourth builder out simply because they want to use flex.

i used flex on 80% of my build 5 yrs ago, no problems

Maybe they can heat-bend the rigid to go around your pool.
