I read in some other threads tonight that I should unplug the copper bars on the Intex SWG. I will do that tomorrow. Since I use Jack's Magic in my pool anyway, is it sequestering what copper is in there along with the iron from the well water?

Purple Stuff. I may be worried about nothing though. My youngest is very blonde and has missed maybe 2 days in the pool since I opened it 3 weeks ago. She hasn't had any hair color problems.
The purple stuff should sequester both, and you got a good indicator in your daughter's hair

That's good to know. I unplugged it anyway. I don't think I've ever used the boost button anyway.
