Aqualink RS6 All Button Panel With Pwr Ctr Rev R PCB RS8

Does anyone know if a P&S RS6 All Button panel can continue to function fine if connected to a Rev R PCB with a P&S RS8 CPU?

I know that I need an RS8 All Button panel, or a One Touch panel, to get access to the last two devices. But if I were to just upgrade my Rev K P&S RS6 PCB with a current release Rev R P&S RS8 PCB, and later go to the expense of changing my All Button panel from an RS6 to an RS8, will my RS6 All Button panel contiue to operate just fine?

I got an answer from a pool professional that I thought I'd pass along:

Yes, use of an RS6 all button panel with a system with an RS8 PPD/chip will work fine, you just won't have control capability for the last two (7th and 8th) devices.
