now that I have converted the pool to chlorine, I can see every little spec of dust and dirt on the bottom! Wonderful. Now I vacuum twice as much!
Thank you to everyone involved in this thread. I'm sorry that I did not post pics of the conversion, as I was embarrassed to note that I had started the process from "professional tips" on anohter site and was just arbitrarily dumping bleach into the pool without the proper testing.
After following the thread, it only took 8 days to get our pool CRYSTAL clear for the first time.
