Exposed Aggregate Concrete Deck - covering solutions??

Good afternoon everyone. My pool deck has exposed concrete aggregate and is extremely rough on our feet. Does anyone have any suggestions on the most economical way to cover, smooth, overlay, etc... the concrete. We plan on doing a major rehab next year, but just bounching this off the boards for any temporary, inexpensive solutions.

Inexpensive isn't going to be easy. A heavy coat of sealer will help.

I have the same problem. My cheap solution is to wear flip flops and take them off right at the stairs so I have them when I get out.

We just had ours torn up and will go back with travertine. I could figure out a cheap way either.

Talked to contractors about going over the top with pavers and some said they would do it and others not. The aggregate began to lift some and that is when we decided to just remove it. Took us 14 years to finally make that decision. Good luck...
