I feel way more prepared to build a pool now than I did 2 months ago. This is what I think I have narrowed down on my equipment by reading what you have to say if you see something I need to change let me know. Going to build. 18x36 inground around 28000 gallons I think. Pentair easytouch with IC40 salt chlorine generator 1hp whispersflow 2 speed pump (should I get a 1 1/2), pentair Triton II TR100 filter, Polaris booster pump with Polaris 180. Does this sound like a good combo?

Unless you have a water feature you haven't mentioned (spa, fountain, waterfall, etc) you don't want a pump as large as 1 1/2 HP. A 1 HP pump is more than enough.
The low speed of a 1HP and 1.5HP are probably pretty similar. use low for general circulation and high for cleaner or backwash or solar.
