I keep having problems with Jandy Aquapure. The service light goes on, with no other numbers in the screen. the system stops working. This happens intermittanly, so when the PB comes out to investigate, it is never on. about 3 weeks ago, they replaced the sensor, boosted it at 100% for a few days , which worked to increase the chlorine. I decreased it to 75% (running for 8 hours at night) which seems to maintain the FC at 2-2.5. I left town for 5 day, and when I returned, no chlorine, service light on. I changed it to boost, it started working, but this morning service light was on. The PB says I need to be cleaning it. I was never told to clean it, but I do have hard water. The questions:
1) how do you clean the cell?
2) could this really be the problem?
3) I called Jandy- they said I needed to go through the PB. where do I go from here?
