Something is off

I can't figure out what is going on. The water in the pool is murky, off color, not the crystal clear blue I am used to. Here are my numbers:

FC 4
CC 0
PH 7.5
CYA 40
TA 90
CH 260
t 81F

The only difference is this year I didn't use any borax. Could that be it or is something else going on? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Murky water is nearly always algae, though once in a long while it happens because the filter isn't working.

Did you just open the pool, or was the water clear and then turned murky later?

The water was clear and then turned dull and murky about a week or so ago. But since my CC is 0, I thought that can't be algae? And the FC holds steady overnight.

The easiest way to determine if it's algae or filtration is to blast it with chlorine. If it clears up, it was algae. If it doesn't, you're only out a few bucks. If it does, you spared yourself mucking around with the filter.

I guess I am worried about mustard algae most of all, that would be a lot of chlorine There was something yellow on one of the walls, but brushed off immediately. OK, I am off to Costco to stock up, just to be safe.
