Buzzing noise from the filter

I have a new Waterway Clearwater pump & cartidge filter & last night it started making a loud buzzing noise on top of filter case next to the pressure gauge. WHY?

Filter noise is usually a result of air in the filter. Does your pump basket fill completely with no bubbles while running?

Bubbles only when I open the basket to clean it out. Unless when I remove the catridge it's not completly closed & air is goin in?

Post a pic of your filter. plumbing arrangement can sometimes make a difference.

If you had a problem with the filter sealing, you'd have a water leak.

Buzzing noise still going on & on.....so frustrating :grrrr:

Problem solved bought a new cartridge, buzzing is gone. I'll keep my fingers crossed
