Compupool CPSC 36 power unit won't turn on

Hi there.....new to the forum....I came home from work today and my power unit will not turn on. I reset the breaker (which was not tripped) and still nothing. It has worked fine for over 4 years now.

Is there an internal fuse or reset switch on this unit? the manual say nothing. Or am I buying a new one

I bet there's a fuse somewhere. If you don't find it I'd call Compupool and see what they say.

thanks....I decided to take it apart and there is a little glass fuse inside....I will replace it tomorrow and see how it goes......I will let you all know in case it happens to anyone else!

So for those who want to know....I took the unit apart carefully, and removed the small glass fuse. I called Compupool and and they told be to replace the fuse with a 5amp, 240V, slow blow fuse. It is 20mm x 5mm. You can buy them at Radio Shack. Picked up a pack, installed the fuse, put the unit back together and voila!.....she works like a charm......man am I glad I didn't have to shell out $800 for a new one!

Good to read. The new units have a resettable circuit on the bottom of the unit.
