Pucks and CYA

How fast does CYA rise per 3" puck per 10K gallons? I am switching to liquid 6%, but I have a few pucks left. My auto chlorinator is set at "3". I have 1 more week of pool service before I take over(they are using liquid). I just drained 50% to get my CYA down to 65. Should I just turn the chlorinator to zero, or let them run out and not add more?

Using the calculator, each puck is approximately 3ppm CYA (depends on the weight of the pucks)

Wow! I think I'll turn it off and remove the pucks... CYA is probably back up to 75-80...

Pucks have a long shelf life if they are kept sealed up. Save them for vacation.
