I just received my K-2006 test kit. I am trying to figure out what combined chlorine 1 drop = 0.2 or 0.5 PPM. means.
Instructions say note: for 1 drop = 0.2, use 5ml sample. For 1 drop = .05, use 10 ml sample.

Use the 10 ml sample. No need to be that specific on a home pool.

Those do not look like the correct instructions or you typed something wrong. If you use 10ml of water, each drop for both the FC and CC is 0.5ppm. If you use 25ml water sample, each drop is 0.2ppm

Chlorine (Free, Combined) Test

1. Rinse and fill large comparator tube to desired mark
with water to be tested.

NOTE: For 1 drop = 0.2 ppm, use 25 mL sample.
For 1 drop = 0.5 ppm, use 10 mL sample.

jbliz is right. He cut and pasted from Taylor's site. Your instructions seem to be wrong.

The Taylor website instructions for the K-2006 say:

which is correct. Not sure where the OP got his instructions.
