Gentlemen,

I need help from the seniors here, thank you.
My pool is using city water, my friend pool is using well water.
Test on his well water confirm "good", I don't have the details though.

I am curious, water is supposedly colourless and has bluish tint to it when it is deep.
If we dump chemicals into them, some eventually become TDS.
Does TDS effect water clarity ?

Salt water pool is about 4,000PPM of salt, sea water is about 30,000 to 35,000 PPM of salt, but I know clean sea water I have seen can put to shame even good clear pool.

So does it really matter for clarity if the water we use is from a well source, as far as clarity is concerned ?

Thanks again guys.

The source of the water doesn't really matter for clarity nor does TDS affect things much. It is much more a question of proper chemical balance and a working filter.

Chlorine gives the water a slightly blue tint.
