Hello,

My hayward pump is leaking underneath somewhere, and I've been reading that it's most likely a gasket or seal within the pump. I want to buy a GoKit and possibly other parts, but I don't know what type of Hayward pump I have. Here's what I do know:

1. Pool was built by the previous home owners in 2001

2. The hayward pump label wore off.

3. The Motor label is still legible, but I've looked online and can't find the Hayward model# associated with this motor model#.

Any ideas?

If you're planning on replacing your motor at any time, make sure you look at the horse power AND Service factor rating of your replacement motor. Your NET horsepower is the rated HP x Service Factor (SF).
As per your ID Label, 2 hp x 1.25 SF = 2.5 net HP.
This would be the same as a 2.5 HP rated pump with a SF of 1.0 = 2.5 net HP...it's a motor industry numbers game.
