Water feels really soft/slimy?????

Noticed last night when I was testing the water in the water feels really slick on my arm. Almost feels like the water is too soft. Is this a concern?

Last night's test results:

FC-5
CC-0
pH-7.6
TA-70
CYA-60

I adding roughly 64oz of baking soda the night before to get my TA up a little. The water is clear and sparkling too

Have you tested the CH?

I normally don't test the CH. I have tested it a few times in the past few weeks, but it always shows 0. So last night I didn't test for CH.

If you have zero CH your water is really soft. Welcome to the club.

If your water feels different than it normally does I'd run an OCLT just as insurance that there's not something going on.
Does it look any different than normal?

Pool still looks clear and sparkling. We did get a ton of rain over the weekend, but other than that it's all the same. I will run a OCLT tonight and see what I get.

If your overnight test is good add enough calcium increaser to get you to 50ppm, that is the minimum for a vinyl lined pool.

Passed the OCLT no problem....So I added 8lbs of calicum increaser and still nothing.... When I do the test, the sample turns purple. I remember reading somewhere this means there is metal content in the pool....Do I add more calicum? The water is so clear, you can read the date on a dime on the bottom Since adding the calicum, the water doesn't feel as "soft". :?
