I am attempting to read the results of the CH test, but not sure about what i am seeing. I am using the TF 100 test kit. when I add the the R-0012, the water turns a faint blue, but there are are many small red particles still in the sample. I have added R-0012 until I exeded 1000 ppm, but the red partcles are still present. Is this to be expected, do I keep adding R-0012, until thr particles are gone? Is it possiable for my CH to be that high. I live in Temecula, about 60 miles north of San Diego. I dont know much of the history of the pool, just purchasedthe home it iwas a forclosure.
The realator did tell me at one time the water was black, could not see the bottom. But the bank cleaned it up when the placed the house on the market.
