Just plumbed in my new AutoPilot digital, and without adding a whole lot of complication to the plumbing, the 12' cord is literally about 2' short.
I know extending it is a no-no (or is it in this case? I can make it into my shed, just not to eye height....any "extension" would be made in there and out of the weather), but I see that both AutoPilot and CompuPool offer a 24' cell cord (CompuPools is a "generic" replacement)
Two questions:
Anything wrong with the generic 24' cord? Willing to pay for the AutoPilot OEM cord if necessary, but the CompuPool is half price and looks identical.
Secondly, how can the tri-sensor cord be extended? I dont see AutoPilot with an offering for a 24' tri-sensor cord, which didnt seem right to me since I *can* get a 24' cell cord.
Thanks in advance.
