3 years ago pressure 18psi, this year starting pressure 22

3 years ago my starting pressure was 18psi after backwash, now my starting pressure is 22psi after backwash.

15,000 gallon pool/spa with heater

sta rite 1.5 hp pump, phk2ra6f-103L

sta rite sand filter, 350lbs sand, cristal-flo 2, 145363

Multi valve system because of the spa

recirulcate is 18 psi.

could the pump just be wearing out after 3 years?

Higher pressure either means the pump is moving more water or the flow is restricted in some way that it wasn't before. Is there any chance your valves are set differently than they were three years ago?

valves are the same way, i adjust em to get the lowest possible pressure also.
