COntrol Hayward Equipment with Pentair Easytouch Automation

We are in the process of building a 15,000 gallon pool / spa with a heater, slide, waterfall, etc. Would like to get an auotmation system to simplify control of the system.

With the Pentair Easytouch system is it possible to control a Hayward pump, filter, heater, etc? or does it have to be Pentair equipment?

I'm pretty sure that they can. Unless someone else here comments first, a quick call to Pentair or Hayward should get you a solid answer.

Pentair automation can control any single speed and two speed pumps and any kind of heater without any problems. If you have a Hayward variable speed pump there will be some minor limitations on what you can do and it will require extra relays in the automations system.
